Break and Steal an Egg Progression Guide

Published · Updated

Break and Steal an Egg has several progression systems, but they all matter only if they help you complete more successful deliveries. This guide separates the verified starting baselines from decisions that should be tested live.

Start with the first base target

Sportskeeda's target-game guide reports that the first major progression wall is 100 Base points. Reaching that on-screen target unlocks the ability to upgrade your base layout. In practice, this means your earliest goal is not to own every upgrade; it is to make one delivery loop repeatable.

Starting baselines

The same guide reports two early baselines:

  • The starting Wooden Pickaxe has 1 Power.
  • The Treadmill gives +1 Speed per step at Level 1.

Those are useful references for understanding growth, not a promise that the live store UI has not changed. Check the current purchase panel before spending.

Reported speed gates

Sportskeeda lists these recommended Speed values for zone progression:

Zone Reported Speed
Forest 5
Desert 1,000
Snowy 50,000
Candy 750,000
Swamp 12,000,000
Ocean 150,000,000
Hell 1,000,000,000
Blossom 5,000,000,000
Galaxy 25,000,000,000

We also keep these values in the zones database. IGN's egg index uses a Volcano grouping, while Sportskeeda uses Hell Zone; the imported sources do not prove that the two labels are interchangeable, so use the game's own zone name as the authority.

Diagnose before buying

Use the last failed step to choose the next upgrade:

  • Egg breaks too slowly: compare the next pickaxe option against the same egg type.
  • You lose animals on the return: test speed or route timing before adding more carrying load.
  • Successful runs hit a carry cap: capacity becomes more valuable than raw speed.
  • You have stable deliveries but no base growth: revisit base upgrades after crossing the reported 100 Base point target.

Aprasi's guide reports that the pickaxe line begins around 80 currency for its first upgrade and later includes sturdier options. Because live prices can change, our database does not turn that into a full store table.

Capacity and speed are not the same problem

The official description says bigger satchels help players carry more animals. A larger satchel only improves a run if you can still escape and place what you carry. If guards end the run before placement, more capacity can simply increase the amount lost.

Speed has a similar boundary. Higher Speed helps the return, but it does not replace route knowledge, guard timing, or the final base placement.

Collection as progression

Cash is not the only long-term objective. The official description also points to an animal Index. Once a delivery loop is stable, use the egg collection guide to plan which reported eggs to pursue next.
